City of New York Scouts talent to give young artists lectures
Talent scout Peter Sklar of the city of New York will host a free Conference for teens, young adults and parents interested in professional dance, singing and acting career.
The Conference, entitled "Beyond the Dream" will begin at 6.30 p.m. Thursday at the Salina, iron e. 303 community theatre.
In four years, Sklar has helped guide the careers of former child stars as Sarah Jessica Parker, Reese Witherspoon and Mischa Barton.Sa Conference will focus on maintaining a positive image and healthy qualities he stated that prevail on reviews, training, connections and talent.
Reservations are required to attend the Conférence.Enfants less than 6 years old will be admitted, and those less than 18 years of age are not allowed without the accompaniment of a parent or guardian.

ELK GROVE, California- Selling dreams of acting and modeling career, Elk Grove Creative Talent attracts hundreds of children, adolescents and their parents. When the company closed throughout the night, parents and children were left feeling ripped off. "I was really just to refresh my acting skills." Acting's really always been a hobby for me. "I love simply perform," client Casey Marr said. "I am suppose to have many hearings with agents and did not get a single hearing, stated another client, Becca Thich.". Thich, 13, Lincoln and Marr, 15, woodland, invested their hopes, dreams and dollars of creative talent. Marr signed in June, plunking down $895 for 20 classes and six hearings officer. Thich paid $1,565 his College Fund. It has only three classes before the creative talents suddenly closed its doors, leaving only a voice message on the hotline: "creative talent is officially closed because of the economy. "They signed me even after that they knew they were going to do business," said Thich. Frustrated, they have contacted 3 calls. Owner Suzanne Fuesi says Director 3 calls that Creative Talent does not have the financial means to remain open. And it is not fair to customers from the cold. Sabrina McLean was acting coach said Fuesi still has his back wages. "I am upset that they were lying." I am upset that I feel betrayed, McLean said. The old hunk 28-year-old shot to fame playing Puck in the popular TV series Glee.Il was delighted of a landed the role in the show - which follows a group of secondary misfits who love to sing - because it allowed him to combine his two greatest passions. Mark is currently preparing for the launch of her first album, and he hopes that it can continue to pursue a career in music and acting.
"Singing and acting are different forms of art, and I love the two", Mark said TOTP magazine. " I hope that I never have to choose between the two type.
